Brake Motor Operation & Installation
The brake system operates when power is cut off—the brake engages and immediately stops the rotor (shaft), bringing the machine to a precise halt. When power is supplied again, the brake releases the shaft, allowing the motor to run normally.
The brake assembly is installed at the rear end of the motor shaft, and it draws power directly from the motor’s terminal box (input side).
Braking distance depends on the spring tension, which can be adjusted for optimal performance.
